Shaped Blinds
Circular blinds, triangular blinds, hexagonal blinds - most awkward shaped. The cost for these tend to be quite high because of the process of manufacture is labour intensive and tailored to each project.
This also impacts on the lead time, typical 12-16 weeks from receipt of order.
Aluminium and wooden venetian blinds are the preferred choice because cutting in incremental stages is available.
Lower Cost Shaped Blinds
Sloped vertical blinds can fit in triangular or apex roof voids. The lead time is 3-4 weeks from receipt of order and the cost is not much more than typical vertical blinds.
Pleated blinds can also be cut to shape and provide a lower cost option.
Unusual Projects
Large blinds are a popular request and a challenge for blind manufactures.
There are very few companies in the UK that can supply oversize blinds. Contract Blinds specialise in large blinds and regularly produce blinds over 5m wide x 5m drop.
This can be crank controlled or electrically controlled and have many uses including: photography studio blinds, exhibition display blinds and printed blinds.
