Electric Blinds - Motorised Blinds

Overview
Contract Blinds provide a nationwide supply and fitting service for electric blinds. Contract Blinds have completed some high profile project in the last 12 months and developed skills in-house to provide an all round service.
Contract Blinds can complete small motorised blind projects within 2 weeks. All products are usually 240v and supplied with radio control operation via handset or wall switch. Electric blinds can be controlled individually and / or in groups.
Contract Blinds will install the blinds and provide a wiring diagram / instruction directly to the electrical contractor on-site to make sure both teams work in harmony to ensure the motorised blinds are tested and signed off.
Electric Roller Blinds
Roller blinds can be made comfortably up to 5m in width and drop and beyond 10m with specialist equipment. Each roller blind contains a barrel tubular motor within the tube (see picture below)

Electric Vertical Blinds and Curtain Tracks
Motorised vertical blinds can be supplied with a standard or sloping track (for sloping windows). The track can be supplied 5m in length and operated by hard wired control or radio control. Motorised Curtain tracks can be supplied to operated within an opening up to 10m wide e.g. stage curtains and supplied with or without fabric curtains.

Electric Venetian Blinds
Electric venetian blinds are less popular than roller blinds but are typical used in meeting rooms, board rooms and smaller projects. Full control is available by hard wired or radio remote for lift up and down and tilting of the slats.
Battery Operation - Wireless
There is also a new product available with a battery operated motor control. The battery is guaranteed for 12 months use (average lift and raise 3 times daily) and can easily be replaced with no wires at a cost of only £25 each. The price of this system is comparable traditional technology (mains powered) yet allows significant savings in installation and is wireless meeting the demanding needs today's consumer.
